Joe has worked at the sustainable end of construction for over 20 years. With a strong background in conventional building he has consistently worked towards an integrated approach where his experience with permaculture and strong belief in community inspires holistic choices and creative thinking.

Joe is passionate about pushing the conversation forward and moving towards zero carbon, community resilience, and connectedness.

We Make Good is the next iteration in a long journey: from childcare, hospitality, a sustainable roofing company, through renewables installation, whole house retrofits, and most recently as pioneering sustainable + educational construction firm Hartwyn, Joe has been refining his skillset, knowledgebase and network in order to deliver innovative projects.
